Makita Canada Inc., presented us with an interesting challenge: they wanted an online platform where Sales Reps could login securely and create sales flyers in a matter of minutes without any design or technical skill required.

After a detailed requirements gathering session, an advanced platform was created that allows a Sales Rep to go into their profile and create a new sales flyer. The first step is to select the style: e-mail, banner, or full-size 8.5” x 11” sheet. Next, they fill in the details like the number of products per page and any other special information. The last step is to click Preview and there you have it – a standard flyer created within a few moments! 

This flyer is then submitted internally to the design team for a final quality control check and then off to the printer for print and distribution. The entire system can be used in both English and French and on any device – computer, tablet, or phone.  This custom application has also been connected into Makita’s central database so that no one misses a beat. Talk about integrated!
